3 Reasons to Love East Austin this weekend 2/27

Just a quicky post to share three killer events going on in and about East Austin on Saturday, I clearly need to clone myself times 3:

First of all the Switched On Grand opening party on E. 11th St

Switched On is a music electronics shop where you can buy gear and get your equipment serviced. They Specialize in vintage and specialty stuff.  1111 E. 11th St, Austin, TX . They also have an online shop  www.switchedonaustin.com.

the PARTY is Free 7-2:00 am

WHY: Join of for the birth of Austin’s very own brand spanking new music electronics shop. The party starts with DJs and the like at the store (1111 East 11th) @7pm. Then around 9:30 bands start playing across the street at Victory Grill.

“Making musicians comfortable with the vast choices electronic music brings and making those choices human is my personal quest. With Switched ON I’m looking out for the shoestring musician who simply wants the greatest sound ever.” -John French (co-owner)
