Northwest Hills Halloween House

If you live in Northwest Hills chances are you probably know about this house on the corner of Waterline & Deepwoods.  My kids & I call it “the scary house” – we’ve been driving by it and trick or treating there for years!

We enjoy following the progress as they start to place the decorations in the beginnning of October. Driving by every week or so leading up to Halloween. On Halloween night we make a trip there. The whole block gets in on the action with elaborate decorations, porch parties, it’s a very festive atmosphere. But the scary house with it’s myriad of horrors is the main attraction. There’s so much to see, creepy bodies hidden in the bushes, gory details in each scene, amusing grave stones. There is always a line to trick or treat, but the line is worth the wait, they give out full size candy bars!

Check out my listing in the Northwest Hills neighborhood –  6804 Marbrys Ridge Cove  or read about another neighborhood yearly event – National Night Out

Let me know of any really awesome Halloween houses you’ve spotted where you live!!
